Dr. Kevin Gandy

Assistant Professor of Educational Ministries and Leadership

With experience in classic-to-postmodern leadership studies, organizational engagement, and psychological empowerment theories, Dr. Gandy has a passion for next generation leadership development and education. Prior to joining the DTS faculty, Dr. Gandy was a pastor and church planter in Southern California. He has over 20 years of church leadership experience in domestic and international contexts. Dr. Gandy is based in Dallas but travels extensively to speak, teach, research, and consult in areas of next-generation leadership and organizational strategy. He has visited over 97 countries across 6 continents. Outside the classroom, you will find him in urban coffee shops, airport lounges, eating Texas BBQ, taking Instagram photos, or working at 30,000 feet enroute to a new country.
